As I read these again, I think that not only do these apply when we enter a community, but anytime we enter into a new relationship with anyone no matter how long we've been in the community. We should never have the mindset that we have 'arrived' and no longer need to be missional. So with each new person I encounter I can be an...

Intercessor – I should ask God to reveal how I should interact with this person

Learner – I must be curious about others to discover what God is doing in them.

Servant – I must enter the relationship with the mindset of a servant.

Friend or Ally – I must go into the relationship for the purpose of building long lasting (even eternal) relationships.

Story Teller – People love stories!
